Our Partners

Opportunity Cambodia is a community partner of the Australian Foundation for the Peoples of Asia and the Pacific (www.afap.org) which is accredited to AusAid. This means that we are required to comply with the Code of Conduct laid down by the Australian Council for International Development and covering the relevant state and federal legal obligations for non-government development organisations. The Code of Conduct also defines standards of governance, management, financial control and reporting with which non government development organisations should comply. Opportunity Cambodia reports annually to AFAP on our compliance with these standards.

Our in-country partner is Peace Project Centre – a small, registered Cambodian NGO, based in Siem Reap. PPC has a Board comprising commune and village chiefs, district representatives of the Cambodian Ministry of Education, and PPC's Director and Field Supervisors. We work very closely with the local leaders and their communities.
